A pleasant surprise! Good home cooked food for reasonable prices. This is not a place you are going to rave about, but if you are in the Brooklyn Center area and you are thinking
Perkins, go here instead. |
A hamburger and malt place in Brooklyn Center. They also serve American home cooking standards. As far as value goes, this might be one of the better priced restaurants in the Twin Cities. The Caramel Apple Malt was good and an excellent value. The Smokey Cheddar Burger, though standard, was also good. Sometimes when I visit a restaurant with older clientele, I am suspicious. According to my stereotype, an older clientele is mostly interested in price and not so concerned about good food. In the case of the 50's Grill, the older clientele has found a good restaurant and an excellent value |
