Not really too much to say about this West Bank bar and burger place. It is a bar and they have pretty good burgers. |
Ah, Bullwinkle’s, the memories... they’re all there on the wall. The place is steeped in a decade or two of history, or is it just steeped in a decade or two of beer? Yes, it’s a sports bar frequented by locals and West Bank U of M students, that’s evident by the sports paraphernalia draped everywhere. Despite being low on haute cuisine atmosphere, they serve up a decent hamburger and bottle of beer at a reasonable price. The eponymous lonely guy hamburger featured garlic and onions, and beats anything you can find at a fast food restaurant. I’ve heard the hot dogs are also worthwhile, a bargain at lunch if you can get there, park, and get back to work. Or you could take the afternoon off and steep for a few hours. |
