Dancing Ganesha was a great upscale Indian restaurant. You will pay a bit more for the food, but you get a bit of a cool atmosphere for the extra ching. The food at Dancing Ganesha was wonderful, everything we had was as good of a version if not the best version I have had. I especially liked my entree. It is what I often have when I go to an Indian restaurant. And often it is forgettable, this version was not, in fact it was a bit craveable, both because of the wonderful spicing, but also the nice contrast in texture which is usually not there. When downtown and craving Indian food, this is the place to go. |
I really liked Dancing Ganesha more than the good rating assigned, even though the Lamb Rogan Josh was not as good as Renee’s Malai Kofta. The spices didn’t seem to work together the night we were there and the dish was a little bland. The vegetable samosa was outstanding and the naan was serviceable. While the location is tucked away on Harmon Place, it’s a hip spot with a full bar and very good happy hour specials. |
