This has got to be the best deal in town dinner for a family of three, with drinks (glass of wine and beer) for $44.10. You can barely go to a fast food place for that and it was much more food than that. Also my entree included a salad and a basket of garlic bread was delivered to the table to boot. This is old school Italian its best. But was the food good, yes it was. Everything from my entree which was amazing for the price, to our son's Ravioli ws great. Even the garlic bread was good, not healthy but good. If you are in the area and looking for value I highly suggest it. We were there on a Sunday night around 6ish and it was packed, so clearly everyone knows about this place but us. |
DeGidio's is a wonderful family Italian restaurant that feels like it has been there forever, because it has been in Saint Paul since 1933. The service is prompt and friendly. The food is above average, and the prices are reasonable. This isn’t fancy Italian, it’s family Italian. It’s the kind of place where they’ve got the Vikings game on t.v. and pull tabs, and it all seems comfortable and homey instead of cheap and distracting. The food is the real deal: my Italian sausage dip, albeit standard, was delicious. This is a place that you would like to have in your neighborhood to go back to frequently. |
