Having come from a German family, I have probably less excitement for German food than other. I find comfort in it for sure, but it is not what I choose for a fine meal. I think Glockenspiel did a good job with the German food and the venison was actually very nice. However, living very close to the venerable Gastof's, I probably wouldn't drive across town to glockenspiel, but if I was in the area and needed to have some pork hocks in sauerkraut, this is where I would be. |
