Heidi's was amazing. Heidi's was sublime. Heidi's was one of the best meals I have had. That is how I started my review 4 years ago at Heidi's 1.0 and blessedly nothing has changed.

This time we did the tasting menu and it was amazing every course worked perfectly together to form a wonderful whole meal that was sublime. Even though there were 9 courses, they were portioned so you did not get too full, but left you still wanting more. Not because you needed more food, but just because you did not want it to end.

If you never made it to Heidi's 1.0. Please go make a reservation now for 2.0. You will not regret it.

I cannot say enough good things about Heidi's. While we went to Travail in December and spent a little less, the food and experience at Heidi's was better in my book. I was amazed at each course of our tasting menu (both the seafood and meat tasting menus). The inventiveness and delivery at each turn was fantastic; it was challenging to the palate yet accessible at the same time. Service was relaxed but professional, truly fitting the food-first mindset. If you remember the cramped quarters of Heidi's before, the new location is much better appointed with a larger waiting area. We were seated at one of the best tables in the house next to the beautiful handmade stained glass window. I am very happy that Heidi's is back - and truly better than ever.
