  • Chicago Style Sirloin $9.99

Hard to explain this place. It was very busy with both people wanting to stay and eat and take out. They moved tables very fast, so even though there a few people waiting for tables we did not wait long.

The food was served in large portions, fast and tasted good. The steak was a good steak especially for the money. One word of warning, when they say medium rare they mean medium rare if not a little more on the rare side. They give you a helpful chart on the menu which if you decide to order a steak and are picky about undone meat, it would be best to pay attention to.

A great place to go if you are in the neighborhood and looking for a quick, cheap, bite to eat.

  • Baked Mastaccoli $6.99

A hustle and bustle little restaurant in St. Paul, The Little Oven is a popular spot. The ambiance is nothing spectacular, just a small restaurant, noisy with many booths. I had the baked mostacolli, which was fine at $6.99. At that price, with bread and salad included, the restaurant is sure to create a following. The prices also explain their procedures - they do not take credit cards and they are quick to turn tables. In short, don't expect a laid-back romantic evening out at The Little Oven.
