  • Chicken Enchilada $6.50

Serving very good homemade Mexican food this restaurant reminds of one that might be found on the St. Paul's Westside.

They had most of the basic Mexican entrees such as enchiladas, fajitas, burritos with a focus on chicken as the meat of choice. The chicken was nice white breast meat, which helped make the dishes much more exciting. The salsas were homemade and very yummy, but not too hot. I had the chicken enchilada with salsa verde, lettuce, sour cream and cheese. It was very nice dish, with a nice kick.

  • Alambre $6.50

This is an excellent local Mexican restaurant. Everything was fresh and tasted homemade. My Alambre consisted of steak, cubed ham, grilled onions, grilled peppers, and cheese with tortillas. The dinner was served with refried beans and rice. The price was well below $10, making it a great value.

Though we would not make a special trip, we would visit frequently if we lived in the area.
