Mozza Mia was a surprise to me. I had low expectations and they were exceeded. The atmosphere was good and the servers friendly. More importantly the food was really good. The Mozza tasting was a something new and was well executed. The pizza was also very good, I liked the crust and there was a good amount of the toppings, but not too much. Overall if I am in the area and looking for some pizza this is where I will head. |
Mozza Mia has a winning formula: a very good location, a staple (wood-fired pizza), and a known but largely unexplored item (fresh mozzerella). This provides a good dining experience for those looking for something good to eat, willing to take a small risk for a small reward. In other words, this is about as close as it gets to a sure thing in the restaurant world. This combination would seem to make a good first date place, too. And, if the date flames out, at least you get a decent pizza, and it's not a big investment in time or money. |
