Kinda out of place for the 50th and France area. Tejas, D'amica and Sons, Lunds, Breadsmith and Pearsen's. Very old fashioned reminded me of cafes in the small towns I grew up in, which makes it perhaps a little retro. The food was very basic, edible, but not noteworthy. And most probably due to location it was a bit more expensive than it should have been for what you got.

• Swedish Meatball Sandwich $7.05

My Swedish meatball sandwich was pretty good, but not innovative. It tasted like the beloved meat loaf sandwich that I’ve had a hundred times growing up. I could have made the same sandwich at a fraction of their price, and I could find many better sandwiches in the Twin Cities much cheaper.
