WWhat a treat, I wasn’t sure what to expect on this very snowy and cold night, but it turned out we found out about another gem of a restaurant on eat street. We started with the Roti Canai which was a wonderful appetizer the sauce was zesty and the pancake a wonderful vehicle for eating the sauce. The stir fried golden tofu was a dream. The tofu is homemade and each nugget is a wonderful, light, melt in your mouth experience. It is almost unbelievable, if all tofu were that good, I would be a tofuatarian. The banana pancake was also very good, although next time I will have to try the coconut rice pudding. No matter what kind of food you like check this place out, it is really an amazing gem of a place right here in our city. Easily worth the drive from anywhere |
How do I love Peninsula ? Let me count the ways:
The pancakes with the appetizer and dessert were delightfully airy and delicious. The sauces in the appetizer and entrée were distinct, deep, and flavorful. The portions were generous. The service was professional and attentive. This is one of those kitchens that I would trust to order anything on the menu. Peninsula deserves all the raves it receives. If you’re a true fan of Asian, Peninsula is for you. |
