Pig and Fiddle is a good addition to the 50th and France scene. I enjoyed my Moules Frites. They were not the most amazing I have had, but they were a stand up version. They were also very accommodating to our boys and seemed happy to have us with kids in tow.
I liked the Pig & Fiddle more than I thought I would. The Seafood Kedgeree was a nice mix of seafood, curry, egg and yogurt. The shrimp was nicely grilled and tasty (heads on, fyi for the squeamish). Each of the other dishes that I tasted were also good. The place has a beer hall feeling to it, kind of dark. But service was good, and those who enjoy Belgian beer will love their selection of beer. If you go, parking around 50th and France can be challenging for first-timers because the best bet is to find one of the free parking ramps and walk a ways.
