This is definitely one of the better Chinese restaurants in the city. The food
was all well prepared and fresh. The prices were a good values. It can get busy
very fast so unless you want to wait it is a good idea to get reservations. Luckily if you do
need to wait you will be in the colorful and upbeat Dinkytown where there is always
something to see and do. |
Often regarded as one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Twin cities, we had to visit Shuang Cheng. For goodness sake, Gourmet Magazine even went to Shuang Cheng. But, like many of the Chinese restaurants we go to, we couldn't help but compare Shuang Cheng to local fare. And, once again, we found that we would rather visit our local favorites, Jang Won and Que Viet. While the egg rolls and sesame beef were good, the restaurant is not worth a special trip. |
