Whiteys is a great place to go for a drink. They are strong and they are plentiful. The atmosphere is a bit less hectic than Bulldog across the street. Perhaps the BLT was really the wrong choice, but it was below average. The fries were average, but not great. I could not help looking across the street at Bulldog and wishing I was there eating instead. |
Oh. I casually know a server at Whitey's and was glad she was not working the night we went. It would have been awkward. But the gist of this review is to go to Whitey's to drink. They have strong drinks, good service, and a pleasant bar bar atmosphere. The half rack of ribs was merely adequate. The baked beans were good, but the fries were below average. People talk about the burgers, which may be a better bet if you find yourself famished and need to establish a base for a night of drinking. Otherwise, walk to other establishments in the area for better food. |
